Ms Lisa Baker MLA
Geo Bay Wildlife Rescue Inc is delighted to welcome Ms Lisa Baker MLA as Patron of the organisation.
Lisa has been a Member of the WA Parliament for over a decade and is the WA Labor spokesperson on animal welfare. She is considered to be the ‘go to’ MP for animal protection and well-being, an advocate for animal-welfare volunteers and a great interest in Western Australia’s native wildlife.
Lisa is responsible for creating and delivering the WA Labor government’s ‘Stop Puppy Farming’ policy, and is working to improve the welfare of greyhounds involved in the racing industry in WA.
She combines her experience in animal protection with her support for native Wildlife as the new patron of Geo Bay Wildlife Rescue Inc.
